However, if micro-iron dust is not removed beforehand, these dense iron particles will clog the table's rifling, severely reducing precious metal recovery rates.

It extracts fine ferromagnetic impurities from powdery and fine granular slag (<2mm), ensuring your gravity separation tables operate at peak efficiency to deliver the highest purity non-ferrous concentrates.

Core Working Principle: High-Gradient Magnetic Extraction

Designed specifically for fine powders, this equipment uses a specialized drum-shaped magnetic roller to achieve continuous automatic iron removal.

  • Material Feeding: Fine, crushed IBA powder is fed evenly onto the thin conveyor belt.
  • Magnetic Adsorption: As the material reaches the head pulley (the drum-shaped magnetic roller), a high-intensity, high-gradient magnetic field instantly pulls the ferromagnetic dust against the belt.
  • Trajectory Separation: Non-magnetic materials (fine slag, glass, copper, precious metals) follow their natural trajectory and fall forward off the belt into the "clean" chute.
  • Automatic Discharge: The iron dust remains pinned to the belt as it curves underneath the roller. Once the belt moves past the magnetic field zone, the iron drops off automatically into a separate collection chute.

A: No. This specific Iron Remover uses a dry belt system and is designed for dry or semi-dry fine powders. If you need to remove fine iron from a wet slurry before a shaking table, you must use our Wet Magnetic Separator instead.

Q: Will this remove stainless steel dust?

A: This machine utilizes high-intensity magnets that can capture standard ferromagnetic particles and some weakly magnetic (work-hardened) stainless steel grades. However, non-magnetic stainless steel dust will pass through and be successfully recovered by the downstream 6-S Shaking Table based on its high density.
