Trommel screen is a kind of high efficiency equipment which realizes the automatic classification of materials by rotating the screen drum. It utilizes the rotating motion of the drum to make the materials fully tumbling and dispersing on the screen surface, the fine particles quickly pass through the screen, and the coarse particles are transported along the axial direction to the tail discharge, which provides an ideal solution for the jigger, centrifuge, spiral chute and other mineral processing equipments to provide the ideal pre-grading solution. The material is fed into the rotating trommel screen from the inlet, with the rotation of the trommel, the fine-grained material is discharged through the sieve holes under the action of gravity and centrifugal force to realize the classification; the coarse-grained material is moved along the tilting of the trommel or the spiral guiding plate to the discharging end, and finally discharged. The whole process is continuous and automatic with high screening efficiency.
