Countercurrent Wet Magnetic Separator is a strong magnetic sorting equipment designed for the efficient recovery of ferromagnetic materials (Fe₃O₄, Fe₂O₃, iron filings, etc.) from waste incineration bottom ash, slag, and abrasive tailings, etc. It is cleverly installed under the conveyor and utilizes its powerful magnetic separation field to separate the magnetic particles from the non magnetic particles (such as slag , glass, aluminum, copper, etc.) in the mixed materials. Working Principle

The slurry enters the sorting tank evenly from the feed box. The non-magnetic particles are almost unaffected by the magnetic field and are discharged with the slurry flow directly from the tailings outlet at the bottom of the tank. The magnetic particles are adsorbed on the surface of the rotating drum under the action of strong magnetic field. As the drum rotates in the opposite direction to the slurry flow (countercurrent), the magnetic particles, in the process of being taken out of the liquid surface, go through a long rinsing and dewatering zone, and are repeatedly flushed by the reverse-moving slurry flow, thus separating the mechanically entrapped non-magnetic impurities. Eventually, the concentrate (magnetic material) is brought to the weakest point of the magnetic field and falls into the concentrate hopper for discharge, realizing high purity recovery.
